About Seven Pillars Physio and Wellness
Hi! I’m Dr. Shelly Potter, PT, DPT, GCS, CEEAA. I founded Seven Pillars Physio and Wellness in November of 2024. As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, my passion is to help people feel better, gain health and thrive in life. I am honored to accompany people on their personal health journey. To me, Physical Therapy is not just a profession, but rather, a personal calling.
My Mission
My treatment approach is designed to integrate traditional physical therapy expertise with the pillars of lifestyle medicine. My mission is to partner with you on this journey. Whether you are looking to get back after an injury, manage a medical diagnosis with lifestyle changes, have more energy, or manage stress in healthier ways, I will be with you every step of the way.
Philosophy of Care
I believe that every injury is complex and requires a comprehensive, holistic approach for true and lasting recovery. Pain, injury and disease are never isolated issues—their sources often involve a combination of lifestyle factors, inflammation, muscle weakness, instability, tightness, alignment problems, and movement dysfunctions. To fully heal and restore, all of these elements must be addressed together. This includes guidance on nutrition, stress management and sleep hygiene.
My philosophy is rooted in the belief that complete healing happens when the entire person is considered and all aspects of an injury and disease are treated simultaneously. My goal is not just to alleviate your pain, but to restore strength, mobility, and elevate your overall health to a higher level, empowering you for long-term well-being.
Treatment Model
I operate solely as a concierge, cash-based and out-of-network physical therapy provider. This allows me the freedom to treat you on an individualized level, without insurance companies attempting to determine what is deemed necessary for treatment. At Seven Pillars Physio and Wellness, treatment direction is solely up to you and I. Without needing to wait for authorization from anyone else, I can start working with you as soon as possible and set you up with a plan to recover faster. My virtual physical therapy visits offer the convenience of treatment right from the comfort of your own home. In the end, this method often results in feeling better faster and saving time & money.
Working Me Is EASY

Step Two: Register for your initial evaluation which includes a comprehensive 90 minute health assessment to which I will use to formulate your personal health profile.
Step Three: Once you’ve received your personalized health profile with your customized wellness plan. You are now ready to start your journey.

Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item.
You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

Please contact our office to find information about initiating the dispute resolution process and state that initiation of the process will not adversely affect the quality of the health care services received.
- The good faith estimate is not a contract and does not require the patient to obtain the services or items from any of the providers or facilities identified in it.
